It works fine, the battery lasts long. I just wish all the remotes had a better handlebar lock system, like a metal ring with a screw and bolt, to always stay firm
I love my monteer 12000 and the remote is such a great tool switching flood to spot light. HOWEVER, the remote control piece that threads the band to the remote broke off within 2 months owning it... didn't even use it much. They need to make that piece stronger. I saw the new remote that isn't compatible with my light and it looks like they fixed the issue on that one...
