MJ/MONTEER Series (with Battery) Light Fault Detection
Please follow these steps to help determine the problem.
- Disconnect the battery from the light and fully charge the battery. Once charged, press the battery's power switch; if the battery indicator light is flashing, the battery is good.Our batteries include a self-protection circuit for the safety of our customers. If a battery receives an external charge, it may passively trigger the self-protection function and power off the battery.
If this is not the problem, continue troubleshooting to determine if the problem is with the connection cable or the light head. - Inspect the connection cable to ensure there is no damage to the cable. Then connect the battery cable to the battery and the light head. Press the battery test button and if the green LEDs flash but the power switch on the light head does not illuminate, the connector cable may be the problem.
- If a fully charged battery with normally functioning test LEDs is connected to the light head, but the light head does not have power, the light head is most likely the problem. Wiggle the connector cable at the light head and the battery to see if there is a connector problem, indicating a problem with the connector cable.

MARVELOUS
The light is extremely bright and has a lot of optional light combinations. At 8K lumens it is blinding. The remote control helps dim the light to avoid blinding others coming towards you. The one problem is the remote needs to be paired on occasion. I ride on very dark country type roads with a lot of wild life. This allows me to see what is lurking such as a big buck on the side of the road. I have paired this light with the magicshine 5K lumen so I ride the back roads in almost daylight brightness. The light gets hot and hopefully I will not experience any battery issues. So far so good. Lights keep you safe and I ride over 100 miles a week during winter I ride home in the dark a lot. Great lights so far minor remote control issue.

If i Take the Corner Button from min to max or Back. The function Stop every time. Only possible ist from milde brightness mode from two Led. IT IS running. But very offen, i have ti Push the butten on lamp for one time. The. Te Remote ist running again...

The light is excellent and has met all my expectations. What I am disappointed with is the remote control, which has a very poor mounting system for the bicycle handlebar, and sometimes it doesn’t work properly — it changes the light modes completely at random.
I think the light is great, but the remote is less than desirable. The mounting system is horrible. I had to modify it using a Garmin mount and using the straps that can with it. As Velcro wasn’t cutting it, it was slipping and always moving. It needs a clamp that can attach to the handle bar, so it’s solid. Just my opinion.

Upgraded to 8k lumen magicshine lights and batteries from previous 4k lights. Couldn’t be happier. I ride at night weekly and the lights are more than enough for the steep and tech Tahoe trails. I enjoy how wide the light spread is and the battery life has not been an issue on low power climbing and max power downhills (my longest ride time has been 4 hours). Hope to keep these lights going for a decade or so. Hope you enjoy your light setup!

I still love it, and so do the police, they stop me regularly because of the beautiful brightness, and many many people that are pointing their fingers when they drive by. I live in the Flanders of Begium and their tons of bumpy roads. I live in Flanders of Belgium. And I never had any issues with the extremely bumpy roads. It never gets losse nor felt from my mtb.

This bike front light is very bright , brighter than a car light
I road ride a bit more than the average cyclist and needed an above average light. I want something that can light up pot-hole mountain road at night far enough out they can be dodged at 25-35 mph. It also needs to last a long time at that brightness because it gets dark before 5 PM here in the winter. this light does the trick. But I gotta tell you, it¡¯s so fun to put it on high ( it¡¯s brighter than your typical car headlight!) and light up the woods! Honestly, it¡¯s so bright I cant see my headlamp light, and it will definitely wreck your night vision for a few minutes. It¡¯s just a really nice piece of kit that I¡¯m probably going to mount on my helmet as my 30¡¯ scanning light, with my aux light on the bars pointed a few feet ahead of me. It could be a little wider but it has a lot of scatter (and prob reflected light too) to light up your peripheral.It is really well made piece, and the full instructions are pretty honest about lithium performance, so I¡¯m anticipating the usual 3000 or so cycles, which should give me years of use. It¡¯s just awesome when things get cheaper and better over time.Highly recommend!!
With this light set(and helmet mount light), I find that I¡¯m able to descend and ride as fast as I would during daylight hours. The lowest light setting is still plenty bright and will allow you to prolong the battery (and the ride) :). Lastly, the packaging and the quality of the light are top notch. Mounts are solid quality. The setup has everything you need. No additional one off purchases to complete what you need to hit the trails at night.
Impressive packaging. Amazing bright light and great remote. Extremely bright on the highest setting...I'm not sure I'll ever use it on that setting! The bike battery is very solid. I don't think the cold affects battery life as we get into winter since the majority of my rides have been on studded tires in the snow & ice. Also looking forward to using this as a headlamp for skiing...
