Awesome light! Paired beautifully with my Garmin Edge 530 and I can control it from there without the need of another button on my handlebar. Seems to be a cost effective option to get ANT+ while still being bright and high quality material.

Great light! Took a few to find this one but wow I’m glad this is what I ended up with. Bright, sleek and works with my garmin. Can’t ask for anything more

Looks pefect and has a great price

I love it! The beam pattern is perfect for my needs. The connection with the cyclocomputer is flawless, and the size is the same as the Evo1700 version. The mount is excellent. This is the best bike lamp Magicshine has made yet!

It offers great value for money. I really love the clean, well-thought-out, and high-quality design, as well as the hardware build. However, the app malfunctions for me quite often; it freezes or loses connection to the light, and I have to pair them all over again.

I really wanted to like this light but the light beam widens out way to far out in front of the bike. This would be fine on straight aways but the bike paths around me are all full of twists and turns. With the beam so far forward its not safe on the windy stuff as you cannot see into or out of the turns. Also, the light beam is not a smooth consistent light. I also purchased a Horri 1300 which has a much better light projections keeping the light closer the the bike and it has a much smoother, more even lighting.

I've ridden with the EVO 1700 UT through rain, cold mornings, and dusty gravel roads. It has performed flawlessly every time. The controls are easy to use even with gloves on, and the build quality feels premium from the moment you install it.

After comparing several lights in this price range, I chose the EVO 1700 UT and I'm glad I did. The brightness is more than enough for fast road riding, the battery life is dependable, and the overall design feels well thought out. It's a product I'd confidently recommend to other cyclists.

Our group often starts before sunrise, and the EVO 1700 UT has been excellent. I can quickly switch brightness levels depending on whether we're climbing, descending, or riding through town. The smart controls make adjustments effortless without interrupting the ride.

I commute year-round, often riding home after dark. The EVO 1700 UT is bright enough for poorly lit streets while remaining easy to manage in traffic. I also appreciate how quickly I can remove it with the magnetic mount when I get to the office

I ride a lot of quiet rural roads where there are no street lights. During fast descents, the EVO 1700 UT gives me enough distance to react to corners and unexpected obstacles. Even after a couple of hours of riding, the battery still has plenty left.

The magiclock mounting system is brilliant. It clicks into place instantly and stays rock solid over rough roads. Taking the light off for charging or when parking the bike only takes a second, which is much more convenient than the old clamp-style mounts I've used.

Received the order only to discover it was the Titanium colored light they sent. Not the purple one that was ordered! Disappointing.

I wasn't sure I'd use the Di2 control feature very often, but it has quickly become one of my favorite things about this light. Being able to switch modes directly from the shifters is incredibly convenient. Combined with FTR support, it feels like the light is actually part of my bike instead of just another accessory.

The ANT+ integration is what sold me on the EVO 1700 UT. I paired it with my cycling computer in just a few minutes, and now I can control the light without taking my hands off the bars. It makes night riding feel much more seamless, especially during longer training sessions.

I switched from a basic 800-lumen light and the difference is night and day. The road is much easier to read at higher speeds, especially on dark country roads. The mount feels secure and I haven't had any issues even on rough pavement.

I've been using the EVO 1700 UT for my daily commute and weekend road rides, and it's been excellent. The beam is wide enough to light up the entire lane without wasting light, and the battery easily lasts through several rides before needing a recharge. The USB-C fast charging is a huge bonus.
