The light works out of box with my Di2 lever, and the battery is surprisingly good. Very good product for the price.
Is there any way to disable the D-FLY CHANNELS 2/4 functionality?
I would like to use the right hood button for another device, but the EVO1700SD seems to occupy both the left and right hood buttons, making it impossible to use them with other devices.
It seems like this could be resolved with a firmware update — are there any plans to add this feature in the future?

I was blown away by the EVO 1700SD’s powerful beam. It's perfect for my late-night rides, and the different brightness settings allow for great adaptability. The build quality feels solid and durable, plus the battery life is impressive. Definitely worth every penny!
Big wish: It could be configured to use D-FLY channel 1-3 only.
Currently it occupies both 1-3 AND 2-4 so there are no channels left for my Garmin Edge computer without changing the light too which is a bad design of the DI2 integration and not necessary for such a great device.

Love the ability to be able to control with the button on the hood of the Shimano. On/off, 3 levels of light intensity. Overall the lighting ahead is good, I can’t comment on battery life yet. Only needing the light for relatively short periods early mornings
