I guess this product is OK but I had to purchase it because my new magic shine light broke at the mount and this was the quickest/simplest way for me to be back on the trail. My light was a gift so no receipt for a warranty claim. Oh well let's hope this one doesn't break so easily. The replacement procedure was straightforward and not difficult.
The original mount base broke after a small crash. I ordered 2 new mount bases just to be sure. Delivery was not that quick, but they arrived good and 1 is mounted and the other is spare.
I used this head light base for the headlight. it works fine. no issues.
Repair parts fit perfectly and work as intended. It was great to save the light for the little expense of a part vs throwing it away

Had to buy replacement mounts because the original broke surprisingly easily while trying to remove. Warranty questions went unanswered from retailer. New one is still working so far. Definitely the weak link on these lights
