MJ/MONTEER Series (with Battery) Light Fault Detection
Please follow these steps to help determine the problem.
- Disconnect the battery from the light and fully charge the battery. Once charged, press the battery's power switch; if the battery indicator light is flashing, the battery is good.Our batteries include a self-protection circuit for the safety of our customers. If a battery receives an external charge, it may passively trigger the self-protection function and power off the battery.
If this is not the problem, continue troubleshooting to determine if the problem is with the connection cable or the light head. - Inspect the connection cable to ensure there is no damage to the cable. Then connect the battery cable to the battery and the light head. Press the battery test button and if the green LEDs flash but the power switch on the light head does not illuminate, the connector cable may be the problem.
- If a fully charged battery with normally functioning test LEDs is connected to the light head, but the light head does not have power, the light head is most likely the problem. Wiggle the connector cable at the light head and the battery to see if there is a connector problem, indicating a problem with the connector cable.

I have the Monteer 8000…..and 12,000 and now the 5000. The 5000 “Shines” see what I did there? …. for commuters. This light is super awesome and light. Definitely worth the money!
Excelente lampara, me encantaría que se pudiera prender con control remoto. Éste modelo también se puede utilizar en el casco, porque nobes tan grande como la 12000 u 8000. La 5000 complementa el combo con las anteriores.

The design of these cables is very fragile. They do not last and "short" out leaving you in the woods in the dark.... Eventually. I only buy magicshine on special offer.

The Monteer 5000 is a great light. I particularly like the high lumen output in different modes and the long run times. The 3600 and 5000 lumen settings are insanely bright. Great beam pattern also. This light is awesome for fast nighttime descents where lots of light is needed. I just wish a helmet mount was included.
