2. Care and Battery Maintenance

a. Are Magicshine lights waterproof?
Magicshine lights are waterproof, while the specific waterproof rate is different.

b. If the light is with mud or other dirtiness, can I use water to clean it?
Yes. Short time water flushing will not cause damage to it, and specific waterproof rate is different.

c. If I having been stored the battery for a long period, do I need to recharge it?
Please recharge it 1 time every 3 months while storing it to improve battery service life.

d.How many charges can I expect from the battery?
500 charge cycles.

3. Analysis of frequently asked product problems

a. The light can not be turned on, is the light broken?
Please make sure if the battery works properly or not (the battery indicate lights will burn on when charging. Charging time in accordance with this feature listed on user manual or package), and if charging cable well connected, as these two factors will prevent light be turned on.

b. Why the battery can not be charged?
Please make sure the charging cable is well connected, as the loose connection may cause false charging. Also, please pay attention to use the Magicshine chargers, higher or lower voltage will cause damage of battery.

c. Why the turn on/off switch cannot work?
Please make sure if the battery work properly or not, and if you have set mode on Apps under App mode. If so, please delete the mode on App and try again. For all in one units, please try more time, if failed, please contact your original seller for help.

d. Why battery burning time become shorter?
Please make sure the battery is in good maintenance. There will be capacity loss if left with no full charging every 3 months.

Generally, the battery life is 500 charge cycles, and the capacity will loss after long time use.

The burning time will become shorter when use under lower temperature condition.

Also, please make sure to process full charge for each charging, this will be good for battery maintenance.

e. Can I buy components and repair/assemble myself?
In order to avoid unexpected damage to product, we suggest return to Magicshine for warranty.

The roll-off-your-tongue MJ 906S from Magicshine is a compact yet bright light with a vast array of beam strengths and a number of beam patterns.

Daytime running through to ‘burn all the retinas in a mile radius’ amounts of light (4,500 lumens) are pumped out by the two main LEDs, with backups providing daylight riding (DLR) capability.

One button on top lets you toggle through the modes, while the light unit itself is attached to bar and helmet alike, via a Garmin-style quarter-turn bracket.

The supplied battery is charged (and also outputs, should you wish) via USB-C, and has a capacity of 10,000mAh for up to 50 hours of burn time.

Battery indicator levels are present too.

However, what’s really smart is the electric bike integration. Yes, this light can be integrated in to your ebike’s power supply, so you’ll never forget to charge your light battery again (unless you count your ebike battery as your light battery). It works with Brose, Bosch, Shimano and Yamaha systems.

For its weight and size, the MJ-906S is an impressive performer, packing a big punch.

It’s perfectly usable as a standalone bar-mounted light, but because of its lightweight, I think it would be best as a helmet-mounted light accompanying a dedicated bar unit.

Pairing this with the Monteer 8000S would create a formidable package.
